We often see patients who
are having second thoughts about their tattoos.
What seemed like a good idea in youth, now does not fit your life or career
later on.
Fortunately, with the advance of laser technology, it is now possible to
choose the correct color of laser light necessary to remove the color in the
tattoo. Several treatments are needed, but it is possible to do a
more thorough removal of the tattoo leaving less of a mark than ever
before. Results are permanent and the skin surrounding the tattoo is not
damaged.
Other methods of tattoo removal (excision or dermabrasion) are more
invasive and can result in scarring. Laser tattoo removal is non-invasive
and only targets the ink used in the tattoo - not the surrounding skin. Fast payday loan, payday loans no faxing in UK.
Emitted as either pulsed or continuous wave light, the laser is directed at
the colored areas of a tattoo. When the colored ink particles in the tattoo
absorb the laser light, they are broken into tiny fragments.
These fragments are then absorbed through the body's natural cleansing
mechanism; this usually takes a few weeks. Larger tattoos may require
several treatments.
While treatments do not require anesthetics, some patients are more
comfortable with local numbing. Ice or an anesthetic cream can be used.
For others, a local anesthetic injection may be helpful.
Laser treatments should be placed 4 to 8 weeks apart to allow your body
to remove the maximum amount of tattoo pigment. The number of
treatments required depend on the size, location, depth and color of a
tattoo. Sessions take from 10 to 30 minutes.
You will continue to see your tattoo fade as your body eliminates the
tattoo pigment. While most patients will see an improvement in their
tattoos, large tattoos can require several treatments for best results. агентство недвижимости итака база данных
